Experience
I earned my masters' degree in applied math from the New Jersey Institute Of Technology. During my graduate studies, I earned an academic scholarship and was brought on as a student teacher. I taught undergraduate calculus and undergraduate engineering math. I am a certified math teacher who has over TWENTY years of public school experience and 36 years of private and public tutoring. I will be more than happy to present you with a portfolio of my credentials so that you can see the extent of my experience, knowledge and expertise. I have an extreme passion for teaching mathematics. When I fell in love with teaching math at the age of sixteen, I knew that is what I was meant to do. Teaching math is in my blood and in my soul. I want to continue to improve myself so that I can one day become known as one of the best math instructors in the world. I love working with other people and learning from others. I believe what Socrates taught. He said that the wisest man in the world is the man who knows that he knows nothing. As we learn, we realize that there is so much more that we do not know. As a result of that reality, we should always be striving to learn as much as we can every second of our lives. I strive to learn everyday. I will never stop my pursuit of learning how to become a better math teacher and mentor. I have a burning desire to earn my P.H.D. in applied mathematics and I want to attend the "All Kinds Of Minds Institute" that is run by Dr. Mel Levine. He is a learning expert who shows how every child can succeed. I have the highest respect and regard for him and what he has accomplished. I look forward to learning from him. Mastering his methods will give me the additional knowledge and skills that I seek to truly make a long lasting impact and positive difference in the lives of every student with whom I come in contact. It is easy to learn more about me. You can look up the "Math Healer." My experience, proven passion and proven successful results will definitely help you master your math class beginning today!!!

Hobbies
I enjoy lifting weights, jogging, bowling and reading books about history, philosophy and best teaching practices. I also enjoy playing chess. I enjoy it because it forces you to think logically and critically. It forces you to study your opponent's behavior and strategies. It teaches you to build a psychological profile of your opponent so that you can better anticipate how he/she will move and will respond to your moves. Chess is teaching us about life. I enjoy being around my family. Spending time with them is very important to me.
